I was born in New York City. I was raised in the Bronx and attended Adlai E. Stevenson High School. I also attended the Wildcats Program for Secretarial Studies and graduated with Honors.
I began my legal career at a New York City medical malpractice firm (1988).
After working there for several years, my family and I relocated to Rochester, New York (1994).
I refreshed my skills at the Urban League of Rochester. From 1995-2000, I worked for several well known Rochester area law firms.
What I do for Clients
I joined Modica Law Firm during February of 2000 as a legal assistant.
In 2009, I was promoted to Paralegal. I am dedicated to improving myself through continuous learning. I have a passion to help people. I give my best every day.
I model my professional life after our Firm’s mission statement (“Helping People Take Action”). I work primarily with our clients who apply for Social Security Disability benefits. I also assist the Firm with its litigation, arbitration and mediation practices.
We are generous and community oriented. We give back in many ways, including donating our time (e.g., handling cases pro bono), talent (e.g., speaking to community groups) and treasure (e.g., giving and raising funds for worthy organizations). Click here for more information about our community involvement.
My husband and I live in Gates with our dog. We have four children and ten grandchildren.
My non-law passions include enjoying my home, spending time with my family (especially my grandchildren), sharing life lessons and history (especially with young people), giving back to community organizations who helped me during rough times, enjoying good food and wine and rooting for the New York Yankees and Giants.
