Steve Modica was named the 2019 Lawyer of the Year in Rochester, New York for Employment Law–Individuals. He was also nominated and elected as a Fellow of The New York Bar Foundation, which recognizes his distinguished achievement, dedication to the legal profession, commitment to the organized bar, and service to the public. Steve has also received:

  • the Adolph J. Rodenbeck Award (2020) from the Monroe County Bar Association (its highest honor) recognizing his work to improve the administration of justice and his commitment to community service and the legal profession;
  • the Greater Rochester Award for Non Profit Board Leadership and the Norman Cohn Award for his work as the Former President of the Board of Directors of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Upstate New York Chapter;
  • the Nathaniel Award (Champion of Justice & Community Service);
  • America’s Most Honored Professionals Award (recognizing him as in the Top 1% of professionals including CEOs, doctors, attorneys, wealth managers, etc.);
  • the President’s Award for Professionalism (recognizing his commitment to professionalism, civility, and collegiality); and
  • the Robert H. Jackson Special Achievement Award (recognizing distinguished service as a court certified mediator)
